The Connecting the Dots Initiative

Under a Scholars Grant from The Institute for Integrative Health, the Center conducted a research and outreach effort to raise awareness among leaders in government and the private sector about the important connections between health and social factors such as education, income, neighborhood, and community. In meetings with policymakers and business leaders, the Center elicited feedback to inform a more effective approach to translating and delivering evidence. Meetings with policymakers occurred at every level, from Capitol Hill to county councils.
